PlexusMDViewer

Organ segmentation and volumes in your browser

Studies that measure organ volumes, lesion volumes or muscle and fat areas usually need desktop software. PlexusMD Viewer does the same work in the browser, on the computer you already use, without uploading the images.

Manual tools

Brush and eraser with a HU range, threshold, region growing, fill, scissors, and interpolation between the slices you drew. Every segment shows its volume, mean and SD of the image values, and its range.

Automatic segmentation

TotalSegmentator outlines 117 structures at full resolution (1.5 mm): abdominal organs, lungs, vertebrae, heart and vessels, muscles, ribs and other bones. The first, fast model finds the structures; then each part of the full model runs only on their box. The liver can be divided into Couinaud segments with lobe volumes, and body composition is measured at L3.

For a study

A project keeps the same segments and values for every case and collects one row per case, ready as a CSV for Excel or SPSS. The Cite button writes the methods sentence with the right references.
