Open NIfTI files in your browser
NIfTI (.nii, .nii.gz) is the usual format of research datasets and of the output of tools such as TotalSegmentator, nnU-Net, FreeSurfer and 3D Slicer.
Steps
- Open viewer.plexusmd.org.
- Drag the .nii or .nii.gz file onto the page, or choose Open study.
- The volume opens in its own orientation; switch to three planes (MPR) from the toolbar.
Label maps
A segmentation saved as NIfTI can be loaded onto its image as segments, with the volume and the image values of each label. Segments made in the viewer can be saved back as NIfTI, DICOM SEG or STL.
