Open a DICOMDIR folder in your browser
DICOMDIR is the index file at the top of a medical imaging CD. It lists the patients, studies and series on the disc; the images themselves are in the folders next to it.
Steps
- Open viewer.plexusmd.org.
- Choose Open study and pick the top folder of the disc, the one that contains DICOMDIR. Picking only the DICOMDIR file is not enough: the images are in the folders beside it.
- Every study and series on the disc appears on the left.
A disc without DICOMDIR
That works too. The viewer reads the images themselves and groups them into studies and series.
More than one patient on the disc
Each patient and study gets its own card in the list, so they are not mixed.
